
Honey is an ancient sweetener filled with multiple ways to nourish your soul and overall health. Dating back to Ancient Egyptian times, honey was the main sweetener in many drinks to keep our ancestors healthy and thriving. Today I want to share with you how honey can improve your health when combined with lemon, and how easy it is to incorporate it into your daily wellness routine.

Honey & Lemon can be used to:
A healthy boost of antioxidants
Lower your blood pressure
Detoxify the body
Get rid of acne from the root working from the inside out
Also helping you lose weight.

Add one cup of honey to a small pot and put the temperature on low, then squeeze half of a lemon into the honey after it has melted down into liquid form. Add one cup of filtered water and let it slightly simmer right before the tea hits a boil.
Refrain from boiling the mixture due to the honey losing potency if it gets too hot.
Once the tea is cooled, pour some into your favorite coffee mug and enjoy. Doing this ritual once or twice a day will help you stay healthy and happy !
